Name: Isidro Blanquet

Isidro Blanquet is the Secretary General of the Portuguese Association of Aquaculture. He has a Graduation in Biology – University of Porto and a Masters in Marine Sciences and Resources – ICBAS, Porto, Portugal. With about 30 years of experience in marine aquaculture, Isidro Blanquet has a great knowledge of the aquaculture activity in Portugal, of the various intensive and semi-intensive production regimes used in this country and of the different species of fish and shellfish cultivated. During these 30 years of activity, he has developed privileged relationships with various governmental and academic institutions related to the aquaculture activity.

Name: Marta Rocha

Marta Rocha completed her degree in Marine Biology and Fisheries at the University of Algarve in 2005. At the end of 2009, she joined the team at Cooperativa Formosa, a cooperative of aquaculture farmers producing bivalves (grooved carpet shell clam and oysters).
