Ana Rita Pais, with BSc and MSc in Biochemistry, is currently a Biochemistry PhD student at University of Aveiro, in collaboration with CIIMAR and CBQF. The main focus of her PhD are the evaluation of the bioaccessibility and bioavailability of different microalgae’s biomass and lipid extracts, the characterization the lipid profile of bioacessible and bioavailable fractions using lipidomics approach, and the evaluation of bioactive potential of these fractions.
