Daniela Flores

PhD student

Daniela Flores is a chemist who graduated with a BSc in Chemistry in 2019 and an MSc in Chemistry in 2021, both from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. She has experience in the development of nanomaterials and adsorbent materials for water remediation. She is the first author of one published article and co-author of one book chapter and two articles in international journals. Her work has been presented at five national and international conferences. She has also participated in a research project at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Porto. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Chemistry, focusing on the development of advanced porous adsorbent materials for water treatment, with an emphasis on the valorization of industrial wastes into magnetic materials with enhanced capacity for the removal of water pollutants.
