CIIMAR is organizing the INDIMAR project workshop on the 20th of March at IPMA.

The main aim of this workshop will be to select indicators and metrics for monitoring the RNAMP – National Network of Marine Protected Areas.

The workshop will combine expository and interactive activities. The expository activities involve the presentation of information collected, analysed, processed and synthesised on indicators for monitoring the RNAMP. Interactive activities include 1) group exercises in which indicators and their respective metrics will be matched to specific RNAMP objectives; as well as 2) plenary discussion of strategies for prioritizing monitoring indicators to assess RNAMP’s performance.
