CIIMAR assumes the presidency of the Board of B2E – Blue Bioeconomy Association | Collaborative Laboratory, reinforcing its commitment to promoting the blue bioeconomy and the sustainable development of marine resources.
The CIIMAR researcher Ana Paula Mucha will be the institution’s representative on B2E’s Board of Directors, bringing her vast scientific and strategic experience to boost innovation and collaboration between the various players in the sector.
With this new leadership, B2E strengthens its role as a platform of excellence for the development of the blue bioeconomy in Portugal, promoting synergies between academia, industry and society for the sustainable valorization of marine resources.
Sorgal – Sociedade de Óleos e Rações, S.A. will act as Vice-Chairman, while SONAE MC, the University of Aveiro and Fórum Oceano will be members of the Board.
