On the 17th of September 2023, CIIMAR will open its doors, celebrating another edition of the anticipated CIIMAR Open Day, which will take place concurrently with “Dia do Porto de Leixões”.
From science demonstrations to artistic activities, this event provides the perfect opportunity to explore the aquatic world around us.
The program includes scientific experiments, observation of microorganisms, a yoga class, a dance workshop, a storytime session, and a roundtable discussion with our researchers.
The event will also showcase two exhibitions: “Monstros Marinhos” by Ricardo Nicolau de Almeida and “CIIMAR’s Scientific Photography Contest 2023”.
