Ana Soares and Celso Domingos, PhD students from CIIMAR and the Doctoral Programme in Marine Science, Technology and Management Science (Do*Mar), participated in the 1st forum of the “Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP)” network in Santiago de Compostela, and in the EurOCEAN 2023 Conference in Vigo, both organized by the European Marine Board (EMB) under the theme “One Ocean, One Mission, One Decade – One Voice”.
During the forum and the conference, they had the opportunity to receive training and take part in discussions at the science and public policy interface with other young researchers, as well as senior scientists and policy makers on sustainable development and the role of new generations for the future of the Ocean.
