On February 28th, CIIMAR received a delegation from AQUASOJA, a brand specialized in the production of feed for aquaculture fish, which belongs to the agri-food group SOJA DE PORTUGAL.
This visit took place in the context of a visit to Aquasoja by a group of 25 clients from Greece, for the presentation of the business model of the Soja de Portugal Group, centered on a circular economy process. The Greek delegation had the opportunity to closely know CIIMAR, one of the group’s scientific partners, namely the work developed in the area of animal nutrition and sustainable practices for aquaculture, and understand how the company integrates innovation processes through the establishment of partnerships to develop a sustainable work, guided by the most demanding R&D standards, not just as an environmental commitment, but also as a viable and beneficial business strategy in the long term.
Soja de Portugal is a collective member of CIIMAR and an industrial partner in strategic projects, namely the mobilizing project Insectera and the Pep4Fish project included in the Pact for the Blue Bioeconomy.
