1. Protection and Valorization

Description of the event:

Under the framework of GRINNAQUA twinning and BlueBio4Future ERA Chair projects, boosting the scientific excellence and innovation capacity at CIIMAR, the first module of the Intellectual Property (IP) course, on IP Protection and Valorization will take place at CIIMAR – Terminal de Cruzeiros do Porto de Leixões, on the 31st of October.

We will count on invited speakers from Patentree, specialized in IP strategies and management, to help CIIMAR researchers and collaborators understand IP general concepts and patentability requirements. They will also share the most relevant and current examples of patents in aquaculture and biotechnology, as opportunities to learn from experience.

A round-table discussion will enable researchers and stakeholders to engage in dynamic conversations and better understand how to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer between academia and society.

Registrations, until the 30th of October, are free but mandatory.
