Aimone Duarte is a Master’s student in Applications in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, with a degree in Biotechnology and a particular interest in marine biotechnology. Currently, she is conducting her dissertation at CIIMAR, focusing on the biodiversity and biotechnological potential of cyanobacteria from Cape Verde, with an emphasis on antioxidant compounds. With experience in biotechnology and synthetic biology, she aims to contribute to research in the field of marine biotechnology.
