Ana Sofia Lima completed her degree in Medicinal Biotechnology in 2023, from School of Health Sciences – Polytechnic of Porto (ESS | IPP). Currently, she is a Master’s student in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Applied to Health, also at the School of Health Sciences of Porto. Her thesis delves into how genomic and proteomic databases can improve identification methods and lead to the discovery of new therapeutic targets for highly infectious viruses such as HIV, Ebola and SARS-CoV-2.
