Anabela Cachada PhD is a researcher in the area of Soil Quality and Risk Assessment. She has been working during several years on soil pollution, being particularly interested in the risk assessment of contaminated sites and in understanding how soil pollution affects ecosystem services. Also, her research activities have been focused on the benefits of sustainable management practices on soil health. She is member of the ISO/TC 190 committee and collaborator at FAO-UN. She is Associate Editor of the journal Frontiers in Environmental Science, a Council Member of the ESSC and member of the Board of Directors of the OHMI-Estarreja.
