My name is Beatriz Barbieri, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marine Biology at the University of Algarve. In the second year of the program, I am developing my thesis in collaboration with CETUS, part of the Coastal Biodiversity team. My project focuses on the impacts of bycatch on cetaceans in northern Portugal.
