Francisco Pinto da Cunha graduated in Marine Biology at the University of Algarve in 2020 and holds a Masters in Marine Sciences – Marine Resources, Fisheries and Aquaculture specialization (2023), at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS) of the University of Porto. Right now, his research focuses on fish immunology applied to aquaculture, with a particular interest in improving aquaculture production, fish welfare and health through nutritional approaches and understanding pathogen-fish interactions.
