Isabel Cardoso holds a master’s degree in Remote Sensing from the University of Porto Faculty of Sciences and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same institution. Her research topic in Satellite Altimetry focuses on the recent Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission contribution to the improvement of knowledge of the open and coastal ocean. Her work includes developing methodologies to compute an improved wet tropospheric correction adjusted to this mission’s specificities and its contribution to the studies on sea level variation and oceanic currents.
