Márcia Martins obtained her BSc in Biochemistry in 2019 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and her MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2021 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the same University. She is currently a PhD student at the Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Group at CIIMAR and is pursuing the discovery of new marine-inspired substance P antagonists as therapeutic agents for common and rare dermatological diseases.
