Margarida Pinheiro graduated in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) in 2022. Currently, she finishing her master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at FCUP and developing her thesis focused on the genomic diversity and zoonotic potential of the Hepatitis E virus, in the “Blue Biotechnology, environment and health” Research Group.
