Maria Miguel Coelho graduated in Forensic Laboratory Sciences by the University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS-CESPU) in 2015 and obtained a master's degree in Clinical Analytical Toxicology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto in 2018, where I am now a second year student. PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My research interests focus on chiral compounds: organic synthesis, evaluation of enantiomeric purity, biological activity, biodegradation and enantioselective studies. As part of the master's thesis in Toxicology, I developed a study on the presence of chiral compounds present in the waters of the Douro River.
