Mariana Almeida obtained her BSc in Biochemistry from Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto in 2019 and her MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto in 2021. Mariana is currently a PhD student of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto specializing in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry and she is working on the synthesis of siderophore-antibacterial adjuvant conjugates as well as in the evaluation of their antibacterial activities.
