Miguel Maia obtained his MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2013 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. He has worked as a Stability and Validation Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry for five years and is currently a PhD student at CIIMAR (Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry Group). Its research project focuses on the design and synthesis of novel compounds against Alzheimer’s disease.
