I received my BSc in Biology from the University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal), where I also received my MSc in Toxicology and Ecotoxicology. Ever since, I have participated in numerous research efforts within the context of ecotoxicology and aquaculture, which eventually lead to the start of my PhD in January 2020, under the orientation of Prof. Dr. Luísa Valente and within the context of the Doctoral Programme In Animal Sciences (specialization in Nutrition), at ICBAS (University of Porto). My main research interests involve aquaculture, ecotoxicology, animal nutrition and environmental sustainability.
