PhD in biology from the University of A Coruña (Spain) and currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the same university. The focus of my work has been the study of the impact of global change on the marine environment, mainly on seaweeds. Following this line of research, during my postdoctoral stage, which includes a one-year stay in the MEMO team at CIIMAR, I will focus on the use of ecological models that can be applied to improve the restoration of marine ecosystems, especially kelp forests, a key habitat on most temperate rocky coasts, which have been in decline in recent years.”
