Tito Teixeira, raised in Rebordosa, is a young researcher with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry by FCUP/ICBAS. He was a trainee at CIIMAR during his Bachelor’s, with a focus in the impact of functional diets in European Seabass oxidative stress. At the moment he is undertaking a Maters Degree in Biochemistry by FCUP/ICBAS, under the tutelage of Ana Basto PhD and Professor Luísa Valente. Where he is studying the effect of Hermetia illucens larvae oil as a dietary lipid source for Dicentrarchus labrax and Sparus aurata.
